Agreement and provider
These terms are an agreement between you and Orango Labs Ltd, 111 New Union Street, Coventry, CV1 2NT, United Kingdom. By downloading, buying or using either app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the apps.
For Apple downloads, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If it conflicts with these terms, mandatory store terms and applicable consumer law take priority.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the apps on devices you own or control, subject to the app store usage rules. The apps are licensed, not sold.
You must not resell, redistribute, scrape, republish, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, interfere with the services, or use app content to build a competing dataset or product, except where applicable law expressly allows it.
Driving Test Route - PassPal
All routes are learner practice routes for familiarising yourself with local roads. Official practical test routes are not published, examiners may vary the route, and the app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the DVSA, AA, VTNZ or any government body.
Route data, navigation, maps and 3D imagery may be incomplete, unavailable or change. Never interact with the app while driving. Obey road rules, signs, closures, instructor guidance and local conditions. A supervising passenger should operate the device where appropriate.
Driving Theory test - PassPal
The theory app is a revision aid, not the official test, and no practice score guarantees a real test result. It includes DVSA revision material reproduced with permission and public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. DVSA does not accept responsibility for the accuracy of the reproduction.
Question banks, rules and test formats can change. You should check current official guidance before your test.
Purchases, subscriptions and refunds
Available products, price, term and included features are shown in the app before purchase. Some products are one-time purchases; others are auto-renewing subscriptions. A subscription renews unless you cancel through your Apple or Google account before the renewal deadline shown by the store.
Apple or Google processes payment, cancellation and eligible refunds under its rules. Deleting an app does not cancel a subscription. Features described as lifetime access mean access for the commercially supported life of that product and service, subject to these terms and unavoidable platform or legal changes.
Service changes and availability
We may improve, replace, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, including because a map, store, licensing or infrastructure provider changes its service. We will not remove paid access arbitrarily, and your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Safety, warranty and liability
Passing a driving test depends on your knowledge, judgement and driving performance. Neither app can promise that you will pass.
The apps are provided with reasonable care but, to the extent permitted by law, without guarantees that every item, route, service or external map is error-free or continuously available. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory statutory consumer rights.
Privacy, termination and law
Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled. You may stop using the apps at any time. We may suspend access if you materially breach these terms, misuse the services, or create a security or legal risk.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep any mandatory protections and forum rights provided by your local consumer law.
